International Fugitive 'Pappu Pager' Nabbed in Mumbai Airport Operation

Notorious criminal Nisar Ahmed, alias Pappu Pager, was arrested at Mumbai airport over an attempted murder and extortion case from 2023. On the run for over two years, Pappu Pager was caught by police from Dubai and has a history of serious charges including MCOCA violations.

In a significant breakthrough, police apprehended notorious criminal Nisar Ahmed, alias Pappu Pager, at Mumbai's international airport. His capture marks a crucial development in a 2023 attempted murder and extortion case linked to organized crime.

Pappu Pager had been evading arrest for more than two years, hiding in Dubai. The arrest came following a tip-off about his arrival from abroad. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sandeep Doiphode reported to PTI on this international arrest.

Pappu Pager is now the fourth individual arrested in the case involving a failed assassination attempt on Chandrakant Mallappa Kondagule. Stringent MCOCA provisions have been invoked against the accused, who remains in police custody.
