To bolster security ahead of several upcoming festivals, including Eid al-Fitr and Navratri later this month, Kashmir Zone IGP V K Birdi held a review meeting to assess current measures. The discussion at the PCR Kashmir revolved around ensuring the safe and smooth execution of events.
The meeting addressed security challenges posed by large gatherings expected during Shab-e-Qadr, Navratri, Eid al-Fitr, and Nauroz. Birdi emphasized the importance of safeguarding public security while maintaining law and order in the Valley.
