Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a thorough review of preparations for President Droupadi Murmu's visit to Ayodhya scheduled for March 19, which coincides with the Ram Navami celebrations. The chief minister was on-site at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, where he met with officials from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and various administrative bodies.
Adityanath underscored the importance of ensuring all preparations for the president's visit are completed on time. The review included plans for the president's airport reception, cultural programs, and guest facilities. He instructed officials to coalesce efforts efficiently and emphasized maintaining tight security across public spaces.
Additional directives included keeping intelligence and anti-drone units vigilant, facilitating pilgrims' convenience, and implementing effective crowd management during the festivities. Security was also highlighted, urging meticulous checks at temple premises. Golf cart services were proposed from Lata Mangeshkar Chowk to the Hanumangarhi Temple to ease devotees' travel.
