The girl's father, who discovered her absence upon returning home late Wednesday from protecting his crops, notified the authorities after the family failed to locate her. This incident has been connected to Kaij tehsil, a police official stated.

In a related case, a 19-year-old woman from the same tehsil, absent since late February, has been found. Authorities revealed she married a man from Bhavthana. Given the couple's adult status, the police recorded their statements and permitted them to continue on their way, noting the marriage's inter-caste nature.
