Pakistan conducted 'precision airstrikes' in Afghanistan, claiming to target terrorist-support infrastructure. The Afghan government accused Pakistan of attacking a rehabilitation hospital in Kabul, resulting in at least 400 deaths. Pakistan refuted these claims, insisting no civilian sites were involved.
The airstrikes are part of Pakistan's Operation Ghazab lil Haq, initiated in response to Afghan Taliban attacks along the border. Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated the strikes destroyed ammunition depots and support infrastructure in Kabul and Nangarhar.
The Afghan Taliban condemned the actions, vowing retaliation. The situation highlights ongoing tension and unresolved hostilities between the Afghan Taliban and Pakistan, each accusing the other of harboring terrorism and aggression.
