Telangana RTC Merger: A New Era for State Transport
Telangana's Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has addressed demands from the employee unions of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation, including pay revision and its merger with the government. Concessions include wage payments for strike days, withdrawal of legal cases, and land allocation for new bus terminals.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has called upon employee unions of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) to create an action plan focusing on their recent demands. Reddy, during a meeting with the union representatives and State Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, reassured that the government would meet the pay revision requests of the employees.
Additional agreements included the fulfillment of the unions' demands for wage payments during the recent strike and the withdrawal of related legal actions. Reddy emphasized the importance of fostering harmonious relations between employees and management.
The government has also allocated land for new bus terminals, advancing the infrastructure of the corporation. Successful negotiations with the workers' Joint Action Committee led to the endorsement of key demands, including TSRTC's merger with the government and a 11 per cent salary increase.
