Security forces have intensified their search operations across Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri, Doda, and Poonch districts amid reports of potential terrorist movements, according to officials.
Late Tuesday evening, a combing operation commenced in Khandli and its surrounding areas in Rajouri after a local reported seeing two suspicious individuals. These individuals were allegedly moving via a nallah towards a forested region.
Meanwhile, similar search efforts are ongoing in several villages in Marmat, Doda. Known as a transit route for terrorists between Doda and Basantgarh in Udhampur, the region requires close surveillance. Police and Army personnel are also engaged in operations in Doda's Sarlea area and Poonch's Dandi Dhara and Ari Sarooti. However, no suspects have been contacted thus far.
