In a shocking turn of events, Delhi Police unveiled a staged firing incident orchestrated by three individuals in outer Delhi's Paschim Vihar, allegedly masterminded to extort financiers and avoid loan repayment.
According to officials, the prime accused, identified as Tapan Dass, alias Vishwas, had devised this plan to project an attack from 'foreign-based gangsters.' The police caught Tapan along with his accomplices, Sunny alias Bong and Kamlesh alias Ganja, who are residents of Sonia Camp.
The meticulously planned ruse involved firing at Tapan's own restaurant to invoke fear and sympathy. Crucial evidence, including a country-made pistol, live cartridges, and garments worn during the incident, has been recovered. Further investigations are underway.
