In a significant development, Asawari Jagdale, whose father was tragically killed in the Pahalgam terror attack, officially secured a role as an administrative officer at Pune Municipal Corporation this Wednesday.
This appointment, a Class 2 post, comes nearly 11 months after the April 22 assault, in which her father, Santosh Jagdale, lost his life among 26 others.
The move was expedited following Asawari's public outcry about financial struggles, prompting intervention from Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis congratulated her on this long-awaited opportunity during a phone call.
