Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, has showcased a substantial report card highlighting his government's rural developmental initiatives. Over the past four years, Mann's administration has committed Rs 3,847 crore to rural growth, a stark contrast to the Rs 1,883 crore spent by the prior Congress-led government.

During a media briefing under the 'Shandaar Char Saal Bhagwant Mann de naal' campaign, the Chief Minister outlined various investments, including Rs 1,030 crore for panchayat infrastructure and Rs 1,336 crore dedicated to utilities such as drinking water, sanitation, and waste management.

Mann also noted progress in sports infrastructure, with 3,000 new sports grounds underway, and success in employment under the MGNREGA scheme, issuing over 63,357 new job cards. Furthermore, he revealed anti-drug initiatives rendering numerous villages drug-free.
