In a swift police action, two individuals were arrested for allegedly robbing a man at knifepoint after requesting a lift on his two-wheeler. The incident occurred in the early hours near Hosahalli Road.

According to the police, the victim, a manager at a local Kalyana Mantapa, was assaulted with a knife and helmet before the suspects fled with his vehicle, mobile phone, and purse. He lodged a complaint at Chikkajala Police Station the following day.

Through a prompt investigation, police managed to gather credible leads, leading to the apprehension of the culprits within 24 hours. Both suspects confessed to the crime, enabling the recovery of the stolen items, including the two-wheeler. The accused have been remanded to judicial custody.
