The incident took place in Abu Dhabi's Ajban area, following what was described as a 'successful interception by air defense systems.' While there was no immediate comment from the Indian side, tensions in West Asia have impacted many Indian nationals, with recent fatalities in the region.

India has intensified its diplomatic efforts to address the safety of nearly 10 million of its nationals residing in West Asia amidst increasing conflict-related incidents.
