A tragic discovery was made in Jharkhand's Chatra district as a 58-year-old veterinarian, identified as Yogendra Yadav, was found dead in a forest. The discovery was made on Saturday morning, and police are treating the case as a suspected murder.
The body, which was found in Tudag forest, displayed apparent signs of violence, including injury marks on Yadav's face, suggesting severe torture had occurred. The deceased hailed from Gandhariya village, located roughly 4 kilometers from the site where his body was found.
Chatra Sub-divisional Police Officer Sandip Suman confirmed, "Prima facie, it appears to be a case of murder." A forensic team and dog squad have been tasked with collecting evidence, and the body has been sent for post-mortem examination. Yadav's family reported he left home on a motorcycle the previous evening and was missing since.
