AI Revolutionizes Governance in Jharkhand: Speed, Transparency & Accountability in Focus

Jharkhand's minister, Deepika Pandey Singh, highlighted AI's role in enhancing governance efficiency at a workshop organized by Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society. The initiative aims at integrating technology with rural development by training personnel to achieve better scheme implementation, effective monitoring, and data-driven decisions.

In a bid to integrate cutting-edge technology with governance, Jharkhand minister Deepika Pandey Singh announced on Wednesday that artificial intelligence will play a key role in enhancing the speed, transparency, and accountability of governance processes across the state.

Speaking at a two-day AI-based capacity building workshop organized by the Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS) under the Rural Development Department, Singh declared that this initiative marks a significant step towards digital empowerment in Jharkhand. The workshop aims to train approximately 450 personnel in a phased manner, pioneering efforts in the country's rural livelihoods mission sector.

JSLPS CEO Ananya Mittal emphasized the significance of AI in improving efficiency, stressing the need for understanding and effectively utilizing the latest technological tools. This initiative aspires to transform better implementation of schemes, data-driven decision-making, and reliable monitoring from mere goals into achievable realities.
