Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary kicked off the self-enumeration phase of Census 2027, marking a significant step toward digital data collection. The initiative enables citizens to submit their information online from April 17 to May 1.
The second phase, focusing on house listing and the housing census, will run from May 2 to May 31. Choudhary emphasized the importance of public participation to ensure a comprehensive and accurate census.
Alongside the census launch, a 'fun run' was organized to promote women's safety and participation, aligned with efforts to secure 33% reservation for women in governmental bodies.
