In a significant move, authorities in Uttrakhand's Udham Singh Nagar district demolished three religious structures allegedly built on government land. Officials confirmed that the structures, comprising a mosque and two mazaars, were erected on land belonging to the irrigation department in Gularbhoj Dineshpur area.

The district administration had issued notices three months ago, instructing the occupants to present ownership and permission documents. However, the occupants could not produce any valid proof of ownership.

Consequently, a combined team from the district administration and the police conducted the demolition early on Saturday. The land was swiftly reclaimed by the irrigation department following the operation, officials reported.
