The official highlighted positive efforts by Pakistan, acting as a mediator, to lift the U.S. blockade and secure Iran's involvement in the talks.
A source from Pakistan involved in the negotiations noted that the ongoing two-week ceasefire is scheduled to end on April 22 at 8 pm EST.
