Tragedy Strikes: Engineer's Life Snuffed Out by Falling Tree in Arunachal Pradesh
A tragic incident occurred in Keyi Panyor, Arunachal Pradesh, where strong winds and heavy rains caused a tree to uproot and fall on a car, killing a PWD engineer. Alongside him was his driver, who survived with minor injuries. Police are conducting further investigations.

In a tragic incident in Arunachal Pradesh, a Public Works Department (PWD) engineer lost his life on Saturday when a tree, toppled by severe winds and rain, crushed his vehicle in Keyi Panyor district, authorities reported.
The unfortunate victim, Deken Sorang, aged 43, was traveling with his driver, Shan Rai, 36, from Itanagar to Parsi Parlo. The tree's sudden fall left Sorang dead, while Rai suffered minor injuries, confirmed Superintendent of Police Angad Mehta.
Promptly responding to the accident, police arrived at the scene, recovering both individuals from the wreck. Sorang was declared dead upon arrival at a local health center. An investigation and post-mortem are underway with all necessary legal processes involving the deceased's family.
