The city's crime branch has made a significant breakthrough by uncovering a 34-year-old murder case in Vatva, following the exhumation of skeletal remains from a house.
Police suspect that the victim's husband, along with his brother, orchestrated the murder due to an extramarital affair back in 1992.
The remains are presumed to belong to Farzana, but confirmation through DNA testing is pending. Her husband and his brother have been detained for further questioning.
