A 37-year-old security guard, Sunil Kumar, was discovered dead under enigmatic circumstances at a hospital construction site in outer Delhi's Sultanpuri region, police reported Thursday.

Employed as a night guard, Kumar failed to return home after his April 29 shift, prompting his family to alert authorities the next morning at 11:18 am.

Police found his body ensconced in bushes at the site, an area devoid of electricity. While no injuries were observed, a post-mortem will determine the cause. Investigations continue, with potential substance addiction being considered.
