In a swift operation, Jharkhand police rescued a 14-year-old boy abducted in the Koderma district, arresting three suspects involved in the case. The arrest followed a complaint by the victim's sister, Veena Devi, after her brother didn't return home from school.
The investigation, led by the Tilaiya Police Station Officer-in-Charge, Vinay Kumar, uncovered that the abduction was planned by Suraj Yadav, the boy's brother-in-law. Yadav aimed to pressure the boy's family into allowing him to marry the boy's elder sister, despite already being married to the eldest sister.
Acting on Yadav's confession, police located the boy in Moriyawan village and arrested two other accomplices, Pintu Kumar and Santosh Kumar Sinha. All three accused have been remanded in judicial custody, as the community expressed relief over the safe return of the boy.
