A Delhi court has granted bail to three individuals accused of assaulting an advocate within the Karkardooma court complex, highlighting that the investigation is nearly complete. Additional Sessions Judge Surabhi Sharma Vats presided over the proceedings involving Uday Sethi, Rohan Kakkar, and Rohit Sethi in connection to the April assault case.
The prosecution alleged that the trio attacked advocate Aman, causing a head injury with a pointed object. Despite opposition from the prosecution due to the severity of allegations, the court acknowledged that the investigative phase was mostly concluded, making further custodial interrogation redundant.
All three accused have been detained since April 7. The court mandated their release on personal bonds of Rs 25,000 each with requisite conditions, including non-tampering with evidence and no contact with the complainant, ensuring judicial prudence in the matter.
