Senior Policeman Arrested for Molestation of Minor in Mumbai

The accused, aged 56, allegedly behaved indecently in front of the child and made disturbing advances, which she recounted to her mother. The victim’s mother, employed as a domestic helper, acted swiftly by contacting the authorities.

Investigations led to the arrest of the officer, who was affiliated with the communication and IT department at the Director General of Police office. He faces charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, as inquiries continue.
