The structure, valued at Rs one crore and comprising 15 shops, was identified as government land and connected to Sajad Ahmad Rather, a notorious figure in local drug circles.
Law enforcement, collaborating with civil authorities, facilitated the demolition as part of a broader initiative to dismantle the economic support of drug syndicates in the area.
