Swift Justice: Bank Looters Caught in Varanasi
Three individuals involved in a bank heist in Barhi have been arrested in Varanasi. Nearly 5 kg of gold and a significant amount of cash were seized. The suspects, arrested with the help of the Uttar Pradesh police's Special Task Force, have criminal records and were part of an inter-state criminal operation.

Authorities announced the arrest of three suspects in connection with a bank heist that occurred in the Barhi area. Over 3.9 kg of gold and cash were stolen in April from a PSU bank in a daring armed robbery.
The arrests were made in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The accused, identified as Saurabh Kumar Yadav, Md Afazal, and alleged mastermind Pankaj Singh, were captured with assistance from the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force. Authorities recovered a significant amount of gold and cash from the suspects.
Law enforcement continues to pursue two other accomplices linked to the heist. The arrested individuals have criminal backgrounds with multiple pending cases across various states, according to the Hazaribag Superintendent of Police.
