According to Ukraine's infrastructure minister, Russia has significantly increased its attacks on Ukrainian ports, with over 800 assaults reported in the first four months of 2026 alone. Oleksii Kuleba, the minister, stated that more than 900 port infrastructure facilities have suffered damage or partial destruction since the start of the large-scale invasion. Among the affected are 177 civilian vessels, highlighting the widespread impact on non-military targets.
