Authorities have strongly advised commuters to avoid both carriageways on DDU Marg until 10 pm on May 4 due to anticipated congestion. The nearby areas, notably Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and ITO Chowk, may also experience heavy traffic. In the event of severe congestion, traffic on DDU Marg may be diverted.

Motorists heading towards the New Delhi Railway Station are advised to use alternative routes. Options include ITO Chowk–Outer Circus–Chelmsford Road or BSZ Marg–Kotla Cut–Mata Sundari Lane–Mirdard Chowk–Minto Road. Police urge commuters to remain patient, adhere to traffic rules, and cooperate with personnel at key intersections to ensure smooth travel.
