Daring Heist: SBI Branch Robbery Unraveled

Two individuals were apprehended from Uttar Pradesh in connection with a Rs 50 lakh robbery at an SBI branch in Surat, Gujarat. Arrested suspects, Shubham Kumar Ajit Thakur and Vikas Singh Arun Kumar Singh, will face transit remand. Efforts are underway to bring them to Surat for further investigation.

Authorities have apprehended two suspects from Uttar Pradesh in connection with a significant robbery at a State Bank of India branch in Surat, Gujarat.

The Crime Branch confirmed that Shubham Kumar Ajit Thakur and Vikas Singh Arun Kumar Singh were arrested and will be produced in a Gonda court to secure a transit remand.

The robbery occurred on April 27, when armed individuals made off with Rs 50 lakh. Investigations continue as efforts are made to transport the suspects to Surat for intensive interrogation.
