The suspects were detained on April 23 under several Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections, covering sexual harassment and acts intending to insult religious feelings. They appeared before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate S V Lad, who approved the prosecution's request for judicial custody.

TCS reiterated its strict no-tolerance policy against any harassment or coercion, confirming the suspension of implicated employees. The case continues to unfold as the company grapples with these serious allegations.
