In a significant breakthrough, Delhi Police have apprehended the infamous 'Bilora-Haddi' duo, known for their involvement in multiple snatching cases across the city. Officials confirmed the recovery of numerous stolen items, including vehicles and gold chains, on Wednesday.
The accused, identified as Sanju alias Bilora and Sachin alias Haddi, were captured in the Bans Wala Park area after a tip-off. Their operation typically involved targeting pedestrians adorned with gold chains, executing a quick snatch-and-escape on a motorcycle, which was also found to be stolen.
With a criminal record of over 70 cases, Sanju and Sachin came together during a previous jail stint. Police investigations revealed a coordinated strategy behind their crimes, as reflected in incidents reported in areas like Vikas Puri, Shalimar Bagh, and Paschim Vihar.
