Engineer Alleges Years of Abuse and Coercion in High-Profile Jalna Case

A 25-year-old engineer has come forward with allegations of sexual abuse that she claims began when she was a minor in Maharashtra's Jalna district. The accused, Shaikh Imran, 37, along with his father and two brothers, faces serious charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The woman alleges that Imran abused her over several years and pressured her to participate in certain religious rituals, even attempting to convert her. Authorities are currently verifying the allegations and have arrested Imran and his father, Shaikh Habib. The police are continuing their comprehensive investigation into all aspects of the case.

The crimes are said to have occurred at multiple locations, including Jalna city and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The victim claims Imran used compromising photographs to blackmail her. Jalna Superintendent of Police Tegbir Singh Sandhu confirmed the arrests and ongoing investigation.
