Three passengers, including two women, died while five others were critically injured when a truck hit an auto on NH-730 at Aira bridge here on Thursday, police said. Additional SP, East Pawan Kumar Gautam told mediapersons that the deceased were identified as Shyam Lal (55), Jahida (32) and Ram Devi (42). He said the injured, Aishwarya Awasthi, Sharma Devi, Akhtar Ali, Chhotu and Khalikun, were first sent to Nakha Community Health Centre (CHC). After preliminary treatment, he said, they were later shifted to the district hospital due to their serious condition.
