Census 2027 Self-Enumeration Surges in Delhi Districts

The self-enumeration phase of Census 2027 in Delhi sees over 93,000 entries, led by North East, South West, and North West districts. With different completion rates, North East tops the count, and North leads in completion percentage. The exercise involves portal registrations, preceding door-to-door surveys in certain areas.

In the ongoing Census 2027 self-enumeration phase in Delhi, over 93,000 individuals have submitted their details, predominantly from North East, South West, and North West districts. According to official data, the exercise has accomplished an 82.73% overall completion rate, with 77,372 cases concluded and 16,149 initiated.

The North East district leads with 16,146 self-enumerations, with counterparts South West and North West not far behind. Lower numbers emerged from districts like Outer North and Old Delhi, which have been recently established. Completion percentages were highest in Outer North at 87.16% and lowest in New Delhi district at 75.22%.

Launched on April 1, the self-enumeration scheme excludes NDMC and Delhi Cantt areas, focusing on 250 Municipal Corporation of Delhi wards. Residents willingly partakes by logging onto the Census portal, marking a significant step before door-to-door surveys commence on May 16.
