The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced it will reconduct the Sub-Inspector/Platoon Commander Recruitment Examination on September 20, 2026. This decision follows a recent court mandate, which led to the initial exam's cancellation due to irregularities.
Only candidates who participated in the 2021 examination will be allowed to take part in the rescheduled test. The Rajasthan High Court first ordered the exam's cancellation in August last year, a directive supported by a division bench in April.
The Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Rajasthan Police had apprehended several trainees for employing dummy candidates and other unfair practices. Although some selected candidates opposed the cancellation, the Supreme Court dismissed their challenge.
