A bomb threat demanding Rs 40 crore caused panic at Jaipur's Sawai Man Singh Hospital on Wednesday. The threat, deemed serious, prompted a thorough search of the premises by police and security agencies, but no suspicious object was found.

The alert was initially received at the state Police Control Room early in the morning. Police teams swiftly responded, arriving at the hospital and conducting a search operation lasting nearly two to three hours.

With assistance from the cyber team, authorities traced the threatening call to Haryana. The suspect has been detained by Jaipur Police and is being brought to the city for further questioning, police officials confirmed.
