Russia Eyes New Economic Ventures with U.S.

Russia has expressed interest in joint economic projects with the United States, contingent on the cessation of linking trade to the Ukraine conflict. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov highlighted potential mutual benefits but reiterated Moscow's demand for Ukraine's withdrawal from the Donbas region, a condition Kyiv refuses.

Russia has extended an olive branch to the United States, signaling potential joint economic projects if the linkage between trade ties and a Ukraine peace deal is severed. The Kremlin emphasized its interest in mutually beneficial collaborations.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov conveyed this message to reporters, urging Washington to reconsider its current stance.

Peskov also reiterated Russia's proposal for a ceasefire based on Ukraine's withdrawal from the contested Donbas region, a prerequisite that has been rejected by Kyiv.
