Land Deal Fraud: BJP Politician Duped of Rs 50 Lakh
Three individuals have been charged with deceiving BJP politician Deen Dayal Sonkar, extracting Rs 50 lakh from him under false pretenses of a land sale. The accused failed to register the land in Sonkar’s name, leading to financial and emotional distress. An investigation is ongoing.

Bhadohi police have taken action against three individuals accused of defrauding a BJP politician of a significant sum, under the guise of a land transaction.
The complaint filed by Deen Dayal Sonkar led to criminal charges against Akil Ahmad Siddiqui and his son Sahil, both from Zahidpur, as well as Atiq Khan, of Station Road.
The fraud allegedly involved promises of land transfer that never materialized, leaving Sonkar facing financial strain and threats. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
