Inebriated BSF Jawan's Bullet Sparks Chaos in Maharashtra

The incident, captured on CCTV, involved Bhushan Nandan Desle, who was on leave. Police recovered a pistol, bullets, and charged him under several laws.

A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan, Bhushan Nandan Desle, was apprehended in Maharashtra's Gondia district following an incident where he allegedly discharged his firearm while intoxicated. This incident transpired after a contention over reckless driving, according to local police on Wednesday.
The altercation took place Tuesday night on G T Road in Tirora. Desle, a resident of Nashik district, was visiting relatives while on leave. The conflict arose around 9 p.m. when he reportedly overtook Khumesh Baghele, a motorcyclist, leading to a near mishap. Heated words ensued after Baghele confronted Desle.
Further escalating the situation, Desle engaged in a verbal clash with another local, Swanand Pardhi, culminating in Desle firing a bullet at the ground. This resulted in debris striking Pardhi's face, prompting a police call. Authorities arrested Desle, recovered his pistol and ammunition, and charged him under relevant legal sections including the Arms Act.
