In a daring daylight robbery, two unidentified men entered a Trilok Puri residence in East Delhi on Thursday, allegedly stealing cash and jewellery worth around Rs 8 lakh, according to police reports.
The incident occurred at approximately 11 am when the homeowner, identified as Firoza, was alone. The robbers reportedly tied her up and took the keys to a home almirah, escaping with valuables. A PCR call alerted police to the crime, prompting swift action.
Police launched an investigation, gathering forensic evidence and reviewing CCTV footage in a bid to identify the suspects. An FIR has been registered, but no arrests have been made as multiple teams work to trace the culprits.
