The protestors, gathered under the Samyukt Kissan Morcha banner, sought to submit a memorandum to Chandigarh Administrator and Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria.
Key demands included legal assurance for MSP and water rights as per riparian principles. The farmers condemned the Centre's policies that infringe on state water rights, urging the annulment of the Punjab Reorganisation Act sections and amendments affecting BBMB's governance.
