Tragic Accident in Nankhari: Father and Daughter Perish as Vehicle Plunges into Gorge

The accident occurred when the driver, Satpal, lost control on the Nankhari-Punan link road, leading to a plunge into a deep gorge.

In a tragic incident in the Nankhari district, a vehicle accident claimed the lives of Kundan Lal and his teenage daughter Aakriti. The mishap occurred on the Nankhari-Punan link road when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to plunge into a deep gorge.

Kundan Lal and Aakriti died instantly, while two others, including Kundan's son Arab and the driver Satpal, were seriously injured. Local authorities, upon receiving the alert, swiftly commenced a rescue operation with the assistance of local residents.

The injured were initially treated at the Civil Hospital in Nankhari before being transferred to the Indira Gandhi Medical College in Shimla. Police have launched a further investigation into the cause of the accident.
