In a tragic accident on the Bahraich-Nepal road, four individuals were killed after a combine harvester machine collided with their car. The incident, which occurred on Sunday night, was reported by Superintendent of Police Vishwajeet Srivastava on Monday.
Authorities identified the deceased as Anil Kumar, aged 40 and 42, Mahendra Pal, 45, and Altaf Ahmed, 38. Two other passengers, Shivam Srivastava and Ashwini Kumar, sustained critical injuries and are currently receiving treatment.
The police have dispatched the bodies for postmortem examinations and launched a hunt for the combine harvester machine and its driver involved in the fatal crash.
