Deputy Commissioner of Police Shailendra Kumar Singh confirmed receiving a complaint at the Ecotech-3 police station about the incident. Deepika, who had been married for one-and-a-half years to Hrithik from Jalpura village, faced ongoing torment leading to Sunday's tragic event.
A written complaint from Deepika's father has resulted in the arrest of her husband Hrithik and father-in-law Manoj. This disturbing case of alleged dowry harassment underscores a persistent social issue, echoing a similar incident in Greater Noida months earlier.
