In a shocking development, police have apprehended two individuals in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in connection with a gruesome murder case. The case involves a couple and their two children whose dismembered bodies were discovered in suitcases along a riverbank in Bihar.
The accused, Deepak Devisingh Rajput and Gautam Karampal Gupta, were arrested late Saturday night in the Jadhavadi area following a tip-off. Police reports reveal that the victims were killed by slitting their throats, after which their bodies were dismembered and disposed of in suitcases at multiple locations.
Upon the arrests, a local court granted transit remand, allowing Bihar police to take custody of the suspects. This arrest marks a crucial development in the high-profile murder investigation, as the suspects are now set to face justice in Bihar.
