Cuban President condemns US fuel blockade as "immoral, illegal and criminal"

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel said ‌on Monday the U.S. executive order that ‌he said "pursues and threatens" third parties who wish to sell ‌fuel to Cuba was "immoral, illegal ‌and criminal."

U.S. President Donald Trump imposed an oil blockade on the Caribbean island nation that has severely restricted supply and led to strict rationing.

Havana has received no oil shipments since the Russian tanker Anatoly Kolodkin delivered approximately 700,000 barrels - about two weeks' worth for the island nation of 10 million people - in late March.
