Germany arrests two citizens on suspicion of spying for China

​Authorities ‌in Germany ​have arrested two ‌German nationals suspected of spying for ‌a Chinese intelligence service, ‌federal prosecutors said on Wednesday.

The ⁠suspects, ​identified ⁠only as Xuejun C. ⁠and Hua S. ​in line with German ⁠privacy rules, sought ⁠information ​on high-tech technologies with military ⁠applications, prosecutors added ⁠in ⁠a statement.
