The Delhi Police cut open the gate of a locked house in northwest Delhi's Mahendra Park area during a raid and recovered smack and cash, while apprehending a juvenile, police said on Friday.
Acting on a tip-off about the alleged sale of smack from a house in Rajasthani Udyog Nagar on May 21, police conducted a raid at the premises, they said.
Police said repeated knocks and calls at the house went unanswered following which the team used a cutter to open the gate and enter the premises.
During the raid, a juvenile was apprehended while allegedly trying to escape from the terrace of the house, an officer said.
On his instance, police recovered 122 polythene packets containing 85.41 grams of smack, along with Rs 9,580 in cash suspected to be proceeds from drug sales, he said.
An FSL team later joined the investigation and collected samples of the recovered substance for examination, police added.
Further legal proceedings under relevant sections of the NDPS Act are underway, police said.
