2 get 20-year jail for abducting, raping minor girl in UP’s Baghpat
A local court sentenced two men to 20 years' rigorous imprisonment each for the abduction and gang-rape of a minor girl nearly seven years ago.

A local court on Friday sentenced two men to 20 years' rigorous imprisonment each and imposed a fine of Rs 15,000 on each of them for the abduction and gang-rape of a minor girl nearly seven years ago, officials said.
Additional district government counsel Narendra Panwar said that Additional District and Sessions Judge Shabistan Aquil held both the accused guilty and sentenced them each to 20 years' rigorous imprisonment.
The accused were booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and other relevant sections of law, Panwar said.
