Census Visit Escalates to Violence: Man Arrested for Shooting Neighbor

In a shocking turn of events, a routine visit by census officials in Adarsh Nagar Colony resulted in a violent confrontation, culminating in a shooting incident. The altercation occurred on Saturday morning when Virendra Tyagi, a local property dealer, assisted the officials in their duties.

Tensions flared when Tyagi escorted the officials to his neighbor Rampal Chaudhary’s house, inciting Chaudhary to aggression. Angered by the unexpected visit, Chaudhary allegedly used abusive language, brandished a stick, and pursued Tyagi and the officials, prompting them to alert the police.

Later that day, Chaudhary returned with a firearm and shot Tyagi. The bullet hit Tyagi's abdomen, requiring immediate medical attention. Authorities swiftly acted, leading to Chaudhary's arrest. Muradnagar Police Station confirmed the arrest and ongoing investigation into the disturbing incident.
