Amit Shah Commends BSF's Valor and Strategy at Rajasthan's Sanchu Outpost

Union Home Minister Amit Shah lauded the Border Security Force (BSF) for its critical role during Operation Sindoor, highlighting the force's unwavering border protection and morale-boosting impact on frontier residents.

During his address at the Sanchu border outpost in Rajasthan’s Bikaner district, Shah paid tribute to the over 2,000 BSF personnel who have lost their lives since the establishment of the force. He commended their courage and discipline in diverse climates and terrains.

Acknowledging the strategic significance of the Sanchu outpost during the 1965 India-Pakistan war, Shah emphasized the ongoing need for enhanced border infrastructure and coordination to tackle emerging security threats posed by infiltration and smuggling.
